We woke up to a very rough morning. Bailey started getting sick in the car while taking the boys to school. She nailed Bradley's backpack and I cleaned it up in the restroom while Patrick sat with Bailey in the parking lot. Patrick ended up being late for safety patrol duty. We got to the doctor's office and got the results from her 24 hour culture that it was positive for strep. Her left ear is also developing an infection. There is good news though. She was switched to penicillin which could be dosed in only one injection. This injection caused more vomiting and made an already sore leg hurt even worse. She spent the afternoon recovering while I fumigated the car. By this evening, she was finally ready to try some solids for the first time since Saturday.
