October 31: TOTing

Halloween is finally here but so is the rain again also. Steve took the kids trick or treating using the UTV so they could stay as dry as possible during the heavy rain.

October 30: Pumpkin

This is the pumpkin Bailey picked out from the pumpkin patch at school. Since the boys were riding in WV again we decorated the pumpkin Bailey-style for Halloween tomorrow.

October 28: Silly Bailey

Bailey is trying so hard to wake up. She is not a morning person.

October 26: Clean Windows

Patrick and Bailey like to fight over who gets to clean the windows. You would think we wouldn't have any dirty windows. That usually isn't the case though since Bailey is still perfecting her technique.

October 24: Bailey and Kitty

Since the boys haven't done anything memorable lately, I'll keep taking pictures of Bailey. I think the school routine is getting to them. They are ready for a break!

October 22: Bradley's Luck

He is one lucky little boy. Bailey and Patrick could not believe he hit the jackpot on the wishing well.

October 20: Practice Dress Up

Bailey has a trunk full of dress up clothes that she digs into once in a while. I'll be busy doing homework and she will appear wearing something like this.

October 18: Fall Leaves

October 16: Bailey's Spaceship

Bailey's preschool class has turned their classroom into a spaceship. They can turn off the lights and see space while playing in their makeshift spaceship. For a craft activity, they made spaceships and put them on display above their spaceship.

October 14: Football Reward

Football proved to be a really challenging sport requiring much patience. Bradley is not very patient at all. He had football practice 4-5 days a week for 2-3 hours plus a game each Saturday. To help keep him motivated, Steve offered a special RC car. In the end, it finally worked and Bradley had reached his goal.

October 12: First Frost

Bradley waiting for the school bus.

October 10: Azaleas

We won a grant for 32 Azaleas for the elementary school. Bailey and I drove the 2 hour journey to pick them up.

October 9: Ready for Adoption

Now that all of the chicks have hatched, they are ready for adoption. The students in Bradley's class enjoy a little playtime with them before they are adopted. Bailey sat next to Bradley and watched him hold one of them.

October 7: Newborn Chicks

In Bradley's class, they are learning about the lifecycle of a chicken. They began with a fresh batch of fertilized eggs from a local 4-H club and now 21 days later they are beginning to hatch.

September 27: Bradley's Bike

Not sure why this picture was taken but I'm sure they will enjoy seeing a picture of it.

September 26: WV Riding

September 25: WV Riding

The boys went riding again over the weekend.

September 23: County Fair

September 21: Playing with Critters

Bailey loves playing with all of her stuffed animals.

September 19: Bailey's Last Birthday Present

She finally got to open her calico cat today and she named her Princess.

September 16: Maggie and the puppies

I took Maggie to play with the puppies today. I think it was too hot for them to play for too long.

September 15: Bradley's Homework

He gets to do fun homework!

September 14: Bailey's First Day of School

She was not awake when I first woke her up. But by the time I picked her up from school she was much more chipper.

September 12: Starlight Sleeping

Bailey loves playing on her webkinz account. She saw Starlight sleeping in her flying saucer and thought it was too cute.

September 10: Goofing Off

September 8: Patrick doing homework

Or hiding from the camera?

September 6: WV Riding

The boys went riding in WV again this weekend

September 5: Game Time

September 3: Growing Puppies

They sure have grown quickly.

August 27: Itsy Bitsy Spider

This writing spider was up early this morning looking for food.

August 25: First Day of School

It's a new school year! Bradley is so excited about starting second grade. Patrick was so excited, he jumped on the bus before daylight this morning. Bailey has two more weeks before her first day. She cannot wait!

August 23: Bailey playing in the camper

August 22: Campfire

Even though it is over 90 degrees outside, they insist we have a campfire. This is our last camping trip before school starts.

August 21: Japanese Wood

The boys like to joke about our Japanese wood and the green fire it creates while burning.

August 15: Back to her usual self

Now that Maggie is recovering well she is back to her usual habits, including chewing on sticks she finds in the yard.

August 20: Happy Birthday Bailey

It's hard to believe that last year at this time we were in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico celebrating Bailey's 3rd birthday on a cruise ship. Bailey's birthday is a bit jumbled up this year due to Bradley's football schedule. We spend almost every day on the football field watching Bradley practice. So we met Steve at Pizza Hut for lunch and had a mini party for Bailey so she could open her presents. She was very excited about it.

August 17: More Practice

These are the dog days of summer when it is hot and miserable outside. Football practice continues regardless of the weather.

August 13: I touched the football!

It seems to be a rare opportunity during football practice.

August 11: Football Practice

I caught Bradley checking out the cheerleaders during football practice.

August 9: Tie Dye T shirts

We designed our own shirts today.

August 7: Trains

They never get tired of playing with the trains.

August 5: Trouble Maker

Maggie somehow caught food poisoning and ended up in the doggie hospital. Her left paw still shows where the IV was placed.
