Mar 25: Today Maggie ran away

In all the chaos of Steve returning home from a trip, Maggie got lost in the shuffle. Next thing we knew, she definitely was gone. But she didn't go far at all. After a while, Bailey saw Maggie going down the street from the window and comes crying to me. We go outside to check it out but I cannot see her. So we hop in the car to go looking for her. Sure enough, she was just across the street playing with another dog. I called her over to the car and she jumped right in the back and we came back home. She was pretty dirty after being outside in the cold rain but I'm sure she enjoyed her adventure. Bailey has been writing notes about her Maggie all night.

Mar 24: It's out!

It almost fell out earlier so I had him to go ahead and pull it out while on his Field Trip at the Children's Museum.

Mar 23: So close

It's flopping over in there so I had Bradley to straighten it up a little until it is ready to come out. It must be hanging on by a thread.

Mar 21: Patrick's early birthday party

We had to have Patrick's birthday party a day early since he is having to play extra games this weekend to make up for all the rain delays. He didn't seem to mind getting an extra day to play with all his new stuff! The magic relighting candles were a big hit as well as his new bike.

Ronald McDonald came by the elementary school today. We snuck into the assembly for a minute and now everyone there knows that Bailey does not like that man at all.

He just discovered it a few days ago and now it is very loose. I thought we had a few weeks before it would be ready to come out but maybe not.

After cooking, it was too hot to eat in the house. It is hard to believe that 5 days ago we had 5 inches of snow on the ground. Now it is in the 70s.

Mar 2: Our snow day has finally arrived

Wow, it's been so long since we have had a good snow day. How can one picture capture so much? Bailey was simply amazed with it all. Maggie rolled around in it for hours. Bradley and Patrick were busy sledding, snowboarding, making snow angels, throwing snow balls, making snow forts, and whatever else boys do outside. They are all worn out tonight.

Mar 1: Snowman

We had a burst of snow come down briefly today between periods of sleet, freezing rain, and rain. The boys took advantage and made a quick snowman. By sunset, we still had not seen more snow so this is what was left of our snowman.

Feb 28: Hide and Seek

Bradley got a big kick out of playing Hide and Seek with Sally. Here, he hid her in the cabinet and Patrick could not find her anywhere.
